报告人简介:
Kjeld Pedersen, professor; head of Department of Materials and Production, Aalborg University, Denmark; member of the board of Danish Center of Materials Technology and Danish Optical Society. He has published more than 140 articles in international peer-reviewed journals and preserves 30 years of experience teaching engineers and physicists at university level including specialized PhD courses. His research interests include: thin film growth techniques; electronic and optical properties of thin metallic and dielectric films grown on semiconductor surfaces; quantum well effects in photoemission and optical second-harmonic generation; photoemission spectroscopy on thin film systems; applications of nonlinear optical methods, including microscopy, to studies of surfaces and interfaces in inhomogeneous materials and various nanostructures; semiconductor technology, photovoltaics; micro- and nano fabrication and characterization technology; plasmonic structures; semiconductor technology; nitride semiconductor growth.
报告内容:
A wide range of modern technologies build on our ability to design optical properties of material structures and optical techniques are very versatile for materials characterization. This presentation divided into two parts. One is the general information about introduction of the education structure in Denmark and something about the way we do it in Aalborg. The other is optical characterizations of different material structures from our research projects in Aalborg, such as electrical contacts in power modules and materials for solar energy systems. Applications of plasmonic structures to tailor optical absorption and emission properties of metal surfaces are also discussed.
