6 Postgraduates’ practical ability development for this program
Transport Safety and Environment Engineering is a discipline of integrating the professional basic theory with engineering practice, while the practical ability is an important measure of graduate education effect. At the time of scientific research personnel training, engineering talent cultivation needs more emphases. The practical ability development program is implemented through student’s participating in some essential practical activities. For instance in research project, proposal presentation, field investigation, monitoring experiment and field test etc. are all suggested in the program. The other concerns for the program to develop the practical ability of student are also including Engineering design and teaching assistant practice.
