To further deepen school-enterprise cooperation and achieve precise alignment between the college’s talent cultivation and industry demands, on July 22, 2026, Feng Daolun, Dean of the College of Marine Science and Engineering, Xiong Zhixin, Director of the Ship Engineering Department, together with relevant faculty members of the college, visited China Shipping Anchor Chain (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. for research and exchange. They were warmly received by Zhao Shaode, Chairman of the company, Yang Ying, Business Manager, Ding Li, Sales Manager, and other key management personnel.
At the forum, Zhao Shaode gave a comprehensive introduction to the company’s development history, core businesses, main products and key technological strengths. He highlighted its technological innovations in high-end anchor chain manufacturing and offshore mooring systems. He noted that with continuous business expansion, the enterprise has an increasingly urgent demand for university research resources and professional talents in areas including the development of high-performance anchor chain materials, design of mooring anchor chain systems, as well as full-life-cycle monitoring, maintenance and operation. He expressed the expectation of establishing a long-term and stable cooperative relationship with the college.
Feng Daolun thanked the company for its warm reception. He systematically presented the college’s disciplinary development, program offerings, talent training system, and important research achievements in ship and ocean engineering in recent years. He stated that the college attaches great importance to industry-education integration and collaborative talent cultivation with enterprises. It hopes that both parties can leverage their respective strengths to achieve mutual benefits and win-win results in joint research, achievement transformation and joint talent training.
Subsequently, the two sides held in-depth discussions on joint technological research, the establishment of enterprise scholarships, construction of internship and practical training bases, and graduate employment. Both sides agreed to set up a regular communication mechanism to complement each other’s advantages and pursue win-win development in technological breakthroughs, research commercialization and talent supply.

Going forward, the college will build a regular communication mechanism with CSAC to accelerate the implementation of cooperation agreements and jointly facilitate the high-quality development of China’s ship and ocean engineering industry.
