On the afternoon of July 8, the College of Marine Science and Engineering convened the Warning Education Meeting on Establishing and Practicing a Correct View of Political Achievements together with the 2026 Conference on Full and Rigorous Party Self‑Governance in Lecture Hall 109 of the Ocean Building. Secretary Wang Weiyi conveyed the spirit of the university‑level meeting of the same title. Integrating the study and implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building, he put forward three requirements for further carrying out the education on a correct view of political achievements and advancing full and rigorous Party self‑governance in depth. First, thoroughly study and faithfully apply Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building, consolidate the foundation of Party building through full and rigorous Party self‑governance, and drive high‑quality development of all undertakings under the guidance of Party building. Second, draw profound lessons from typical cases, strictly uphold disciplinary rules and bottom lines, and internalize and implement the correct view of political achievements. Third, pool efforts, take solid responsibilities and stay true to the original aspiration and mission. In light of the 15th‑Five‑Year Plan for Educational Development, faculty and staff shall actively engage in the university’s core tasks.
At the meeting, Secretary Wang Weiyi also reported on the overall progress of the college’s education campaign for a correct view of political achievements, outcomes of the “Practical Work for Teachers and Students” initiative, as well as work concerning teachers’ ethics and conduct and ideological work.
