To effectively address common learning difficulties among freshmen of the Class of 2025 in Advanced Mathematics and Linear Algebra, including undiscovered knowledge blind spots, ambiguous problem-solving thinking and inadequate mastery of key and difficult points, the College of Marine Science and Engineering jointly launched a special final-exam tutoring session named “HaiKe Support” with the Mathematics Faculty Party Branch of the College of Science on June 24. Supported by professional teachers, the activity empowered students with targeted guidance and escorted their final examination preparation.

A tutoring team composed of front-line teachers with rich teaching experience was organized for this activity. The team conducted systematic knowledge sorting and targeted special training on frequently tested and error-prone knowledge points, including limit operations, differential mean value theorems, matrix diagonalization and solutions of linear equation systems. During the critical period of final review, the tutoring session helped students clarify knowledge frameworks, standardize problem-solving procedures and eliminate learning obstacles.

In the future, the college will continue to pay close attention to students’ learning status, continuously optimize academic assistance measures, fully implement academic support and guarantee services, and provide comprehensive support for students’ growth and academic development.
