To further strengthen ideological and political education for graduate student Party members, guide them to firm their ideals and convictions, reinforce their sense of responsibility, and advance the building of the Model Party Branch to deeper and more substantive levels, the Marine Materials Graduate Party Branch organized a July 1st themed Party‑day activity on July 1. The activity consisted of watching the ceremony marking the 105th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China, a special Party lecture delivered by the Party‑branch secretary, and viewing the revolutionary‑history film Crossing.
At the opening of the event, Party members collectively watched the ceremony celebrating the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and earnestly studied the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech delivered at the ceremony. Reviewing the glorious course of the Communist Party of China’s unremitting endeavors to unite and lead the Chinese people over the past 105 years, members gained a deeper understanding of the missions entrusted to young Party members in the new era. They resolved to unswervingly follow the Party, integrate personal pursuits into the cause of the Party and the nation, hone capabilities and take responsibility through academic study and scientific research.
Subsequently, Sun Kai, Secretary of the Party Branch, gave a special Party lecture themed “Forging the Soul with Original Aspiration, Establishing Oneself through Scientific Research, and Being Competent Graduate‑Student Party Members for the New Era”. Combining practical requirements of Party‑building work as well as study and research, he illustrated the significance of learning and practicing a correct view of political achievements. He urged all members to strengthen ideals and convictions, raise their awareness as Party members, pursue truth and pragmatism, and deliver tangible outcomes to elevate the construction of the Model Party Branch.
To ensure theoretical learning takes root in hearts and yields practical results, the branch arranged for Party members to watch the revolutionary‑history film Crossing. Through this immersive movie‑based Party class, members underwent profound spiritual edification from revolutionary traditions. They acquired a thorough understanding of revolutionary predecessors’ fearless spirit and resourcefulness in adversity. With enhanced ideological awareness and Party‑spirit cultivation, participants expressed that they would carry forward the red heritage and fulfill their duties with solid commitment.
Integrating theoretical study, special Party lectures and practical education, this themed Party‑day activity has further strengthened Party‑spirit cultivation and the sense of mission among branch members. Going forward, the Marine Materials Graduate Party Branch will continue to take Model‑Party‑Branch development as an important starting‑point. It will guide young Party members to establish and practice a correct view of political achievements, so that they can give play to their exemplary vanguard role in scientific‑research practice and Party‑branch development.
