To give full play to the bridging role of the Party branch, build a communication platform between teachers and students majoring in port, waterway and coastal engineering, and help students deepen their professional cognition and draw strength from role models, the Port and Waterway Student Party Branch recently launched the Blue Path Lecture. It specially invited Teacher Ma Tingting to have face-to-face exchanges with students, and Peng Yujie, Secretary of the Party branch, presided over the activity.
At the beginning of the activity, Teacher Ma Tingting shared her vivid learning experience and university life with the students. Subsequently, she delivered a sharing session focusing on two major topics: how to relieve pressure during the final examination week and how female practitioners realize self-worth in the engineering field. Targeting the confusion and blind spots of college students, her sharing was plain in language and sincere in emotion.
Teacher Ma’s rich life experience and tireless dedication to teaching deeply touched all the students. During the interactive Q&A session, students participated actively and had in-depth exchanges with her on career planning, academic study, daily life and employment prospects.
This sharing activity is one of the series events of the Blue Path Lecture held by the Port and Waterway Student Party Branch. The branch will continue to fulfill its bridging function, invite outstanding role models around us to communicate with students, and help students strengthen their professional identity and clarify their direction of progress through face-to-face communication.
