To further care for students’ mental health and foster a positive, warm and harmonious campus atmosphere, the College of Marine Science and Engineering held a psychological garden fair themed “Warmth in HSMU, Moments Preserved in Letters” on the Cherry Blossom Avenue at noon on May 27. Open to all teachers and students, the event attracted enthusiastic participation from numerous students.

Centering on mental health and emotional healing, the activity carefully designed interactive sessions including “Wish Drift Bottle”, “Origami Cranes”, and “Stress-relief Squishy Toys”. Students wrote their wishes, blessings and inner thoughts into drift bottles, while others folded paper cranes to convey sincere expectations for the future. In the stress-relief zone, participants released pressure from study and daily life through interesting interactive experiences, relieving emotions and enhancing communication in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.

The scene was filled with a warm and lively atmosphere. Participating teachers and students stopped by to experience the activities. Students earnestly wrote down their wishes and shared their feelings. Paper cranes and drift bottles hanging on the branches carried everyone’s sincere emotions and youthful aspirations. Through diverse and engaging interactive activities, students not only gained happiness and relaxation, but also raised greater awareness of mental health.

With relaxing and interesting forms, the garden fair popularizes mental health concepts and builds a platform for emotional expression and communication. It helps students relieve pressure and soothe emotions amid busy academic life, effectively enhancing their sense of happiness and belonging. In the future, the College of Marine Science and Engineering will continue to carry out various mental health education activities and consistently create a positive, healthy and warm campus cultural atmosphere.
