To thoroughly implement the requirements of campus safety management, effectively build a winter fire safety defense line, and ensure the safety and stability of laboratories during the winter vacation, on January 12th, Feng Daolun, the Party Committee Deputy Secretary and President of the college, led a team to conduct a special fire safety inspection of all teaching and research laboratories in the college, and simultaneously arranged the self-inspection work for laboratory safety before the winter vacation.
The inspection team visited each laboratory in depth, focusing on checking electrical safety, fire protection facilities, hazardous chemicals management, equipment operation norms and safety passages, etc. They conducted a detailed investigation of potential risk points and at the same time inspected on-site the rectification and implementation of the previously identified hazards. In response to the problems identified during this inspection, the relevant laboratories are required to take immediate corrective actions to ensure that all potential risks are dynamically eliminated.
In addition, the college has made unified arrangements for the self-inspection of laboratory safety before the winter vacation, requiring the heads of each laboratory to earnestly fulfill their primary responsibility for safety and strictly control safety risks. Before leaving school, a comprehensive and thorough "fishing net style" self-inspection must be conducted on all experimental sites, with a focus on safety checks of water, electricity, gas, doors and Windows, and special equipment. The management regulations for the storage of hazardous chemicals must be strictly implemented, and holiday duty and emergency liaison work must be properly arranged.
The implementation of this inspection and self-examination has further strengthened the safety awareness of all teachers and students in the college, solidified the safety responsibility chain, and laid a solid foundation for teachers and students to safely get through the winter vacation and maintain the continuous stability of the campus. The college will continue to strengthen the regular mechanism of safety management and spare no effort to create a safe and standardized environment for scientific research and teaching.
