On January 6, 2026, Feng Daolun, the dean of the College of Marine Science and Engineering, Xiong Zhixin, the director of the Ship Department, and full-time teacher Hou Xianrui visited Wuhu Shipyard and had in-depth exchanges with Anhui Haizhi Equipment Research Institute Co., LTD., a subsidiary of Wuhu Shipyard. The event was warmly received by Song Xianguo, Executive Vice President of Haizhi Equipment Research Institute, Huang Ming, Director of Human Resources and Vice President, Yang Ping, Minister of Operation Management, Zhao Qibing, Deputy Director of Haizhi Equipment Research Institute, and Zhong Zhu, Director of Innovation Center. Both sides reached a consensus on core issues such as industry-education integration and school-enterprise cooperation, and successfully signed an agreement on industry-education integration between the school and the enterprise.
Song Xianguo extended a warm welcome to Feng Daolun and his delegation. He elaborated on the development history, industrial layout of Wuhu Shipyard, as well as the scientific research positioning and innovation direction of Anhui Haizhi Equipment Research Institute. He stated that the high-quality development of the shipbuilding industry cannot do without the support of high-quality professional talents. The College of Marine Science and Engineering has significant advantages in terms of teaching staff, scientific research accumulation and talent cultivation in the field of the shipbuilding industry, which are highly consistent with the technological innovation demands of enterprises and the development direction of the industry. We look forward to building a solid platform for collaborative education and joint research between schools and enterprises through this cooperation. We aim to achieve resource sharing and complementary advantages in talent supply, scientific research transformation, internships and practical training, and jointly inject new impetus into the upgrading and development of the shipbuilding industry.
Feng Daolun, on behalf of the college, introduced the situation regarding discipline construction, faculty team, talent cultivation model and the transformation of scientific research achievements. He pointed out that Wuhu Shipyard, as a leading enterprise in the shipbuilding field, possesses abundant industrial practice resources and cutting-edge technological application scenarios. The research direction of Anhui Haizhi Equipment Research Institute closely follows industry demands. This cooperation is of great significance for the college to deepen the integration of industry and education and improve the quality of talent cultivation. Taking the signing of the agreement as an opportunity, the college will further integrate high-quality educational resources, optimize the talent cultivation plan based on the actual needs of enterprises, promote the precise alignment of the curriculum system with industrial demands and teaching content with job standards, and at the same time actively leverage its research advantages to assist enterprises in solving technical problems, achieving win-win cooperation and coordinated development between the school and enterprises.
During the communication, the two sides also had in-depth discussions on specific matters such as joint application for scientific research projects, construction of internship bases, enterprise mentors entering campuses, and employment cooperation for graduates, and clarified the key directions and implementation paths for subsequent cooperation. At the signing ceremony, Yang Ping and Xiong Zhixin officially signed the school-enterprise industry-education integration agreement on behalf of both sides, marking that the cooperation between the two sides has entered a substantive promotion stage.
This visit is an important measure of the "Enterprise Visit and Position Expansion for Employment Promotion" special work of the College of Marine Science and Engineering.
