To strengthen the education on examination discipline and guide students to bravely shoulder the mission of The Times, on the evening of December 7, 2025, the evening roll call activity for the 2024 undergraduate students of the College of Marine Science and Engineering was successfully held. The evening roll call activity was hosted by Teacher Zhu Diyao.
During the examination guidance session, Teacher Zhu made comprehensive and meticulous arrangements for the upcoming CET-4 and CET-6 exams. She analyzed each key link from the examination time arrangement, entry regulations, listening test requirements to the answering process one by one. She particularly emphasized that candidates must complete the adaptability test and information verification in the examination room in advance, strictly abide by the personal information filling and barcode pasting regulations, and ensure the rigorous and orderly conduct of the entire examination process.
During the examination discipline education session, Teacher Zhu, in light of the school's relevant management regulations, systematically interpreted the criteria for identifying examination violations and the levels of disciplinary actions, thereby strengthening the bottom line of integrity at the institutional level. She pointed out that examination discipline not only concerns personal academic integrity but also serves as a touchstone to test the sense of responsibility and rule awareness of young students. She also guided students to deeply understand the significance of academic integrity by combining specific cases, consciously build a moral bottom line, and maintain the seriousness and fairness of educational examinations.
The event also specially invited members of the school's study and research society to give special lectures. Li Haotian, a postgraduate student from the School of Marxism of the class of 2025, delivered a speech with the theme of "The 15th Five-Year Plan: National Pulse and Youthful Responsibility under the Grand Blueprint", elaborating in depth on the strategic significance of the "15th Five-Year Plan" period in the country's development process. He pointed out that this crucial stage that Bridges the past and the future offers a historical opportunity for young people to display their talents. He encouraged the students to focus on their professional studies, enhance their practical abilities, integrate their personal growth into the process of national modernization, and demonstrate the value of youth in the development of The Times.
This evening call, through the organic integration of examination norms, academic integrity and the mission of The Times, not only strengthened students' sense of discipline and examination preparation norms, but also enhanced their sense of responsibility for The Times and historical mission. It demonstrated the college's educational philosophy of combining value guidance with behavioral norms in the process of fostering virtue and nurturing talent, laying a solid ideological foundation for the all-round development of students.
