The final exam preparation has entered a crucial stage. To help students overcome the key and difficult points of integral studies and enhance their comprehensive problem-solving abilities, "Haike Bangbang - Advanced Mathematics Mini-Classroom" has recently focused on the "Integral Studies of Single-Variable Functions" module and carried out a series of special topic tutorials.
This mini-class will organize a total of 4 special topic learning sessions from December 15th to 21st. Covering both theoretical core and practical application dimensions, Pan Jun, a student from the 22nd grade of Port and Shipping, first systematically sorted out the theoretical system of definite integrals, focusing on explaining the definition and geometric meaning of definite integrals, the Newtonian Leibniz formula, substitution and integration by parts, differentiation of integrals with variable upper limits, and judgment of the convergence of abnormal integrals and other core knowledge points and high-frequency examination points, helping students consolidate their theoretical foundation. Subsequently, the special invited teachers from the Mathematics and Physics Gas Station of the College of Science, Bai Yijun and Liu Kangkang, as well as students Wang Zishuo and Chu Haibin from the 22nd grade of the Port and Shipping Department, focused on practical application and elaborated in depth on the calculation of the area of plane figures, the volume calculation of solids of rotation, and the application of definite integrals in physics problems. Through the standardized step training of "drawing graphs → setting up formulas → calculation", the students' practical problem-solving abilities were strengthened.
As a regular chemical industry support platform of the college, "Haike Bangbang" will continue to optimize the form and content of tutoring, help foster a good academic atmosphere of mutual assistance and learning as well as common progress, and provide continuous support for students' academic development.
