To further assist sophomore students in consolidating the foundation of the "Theoretical Mechanics" course, adapting to the learning pace of professional courses, and enhancing their understanding and application ability of theoretical mechanics knowledge, the College of Marine Science and Engineering organized a series of academic tutoring activities titled "Haike Helps Out, Theoretical Mechanics Small Classroom" from December 5th to 14th, 2025. The activity aims to foster a learning atmosphere of mutual assistance and common progress through peer guidance and in-depth lectures on specific topics, effectively helping students overcome learning difficulties.
This event was systematically planned and precisely covered the core modules of the course, with a total of four special tutorial sessions held. On December 5th, the first event was presented by Hu Xuezhe, a student from the 23rd grade. She sorted out the course knowledge system from a macro perspective, clarified the key points and examination directions of each chapter, and helped the students build an overall cognitive framework. On December 10th, the second session was led by Yin Jingtong, who focused on the "statics" section. By combining concept discrimination with typical examples, she took typical force systems as examples and analyzed the static equilibrium conditions and static field characteristics in a simple and understandable way, guiding the students to master the basic methods of force analysis. On December 12th, the third session was presented by Zhou Wenfeng on the topic of "Kinematics". Starting from the description of motion, he explained the application of vector method and coordinate method in kinematic field analysis through examples, helping students deepen their understanding of key contents such as velocity field and acceleration field. On December 14th, the fourth session was presented by Ni Xin, who systematically expounded on the topic of "Dynamics" and strengthened the ability to apply knowledge through practical examples.
There is a Q&A session after each presentation. In response to the confusion that students encountered in concept understanding, formula application and problem-solving approaches, senior students provided patient and detailed targeted guidance. This step-by-step explanation and interactive discussion not only helped students clarify their learning paths and master methods and skills, but also effectively enhanced their depth of understanding and confidence in learning.
The "Haike Help Help" series of activities continuously promote the construction of a mutually supportive and positive academic atmosphere within the college by establishing a learning support system of "senior students helping junior students". The college has always been committed to putting students' growth at the center and actively building a diversified academic support platform. In the future, the college will continue to expand the forms of academic assistance, improve the student aid mechanism, and help every student make steady progress on their professional path and grow together.
