The College of Marine Science and Engineering visited and investigated the deputy group leader unit of the Shanghai Marine Industry Party Building Working Group: Shanghai Marine Monitoring and Forecasting Center
Secretary Wang Weiyi introduced the overall situation of the Party building work in the college. It is hoped that both sides will enhance cooperation in areas such as Party building, scientific research and teaching, laboratory sharing and talent cultivation, strengthen resource integration and complementary advantages, jointly cultivate blue ocean strategists with an international perspective, and inject technological impetus into the construction of a maritime power and a modern Marine city in Shanghai.
Yu Weidong introduced the specific contents of the Party building work, basic composition and main business scope of the center. He believes that both sides have a good space for cooperation in Marine ecological analysis and evaluation, early warning and monitoring, anti-corrosion and anti-adhesion of buoy bodies, as well as laboratory sharing and postgraduate training. He hopes to continue to strengthen practical cooperation and promote high-quality business development.
The participants exchanged views and held discussions around their respective areas of responsibility.
As the deputy group leader unit for the Party building work in the Marine industry of Shanghai, the college will adhere to the orientation of "emphasizing service and making strong contributions", focus on "serving science and cultivating talents for production", continue to strengthen the interconnection and communication with Marine industry units, and build a platform for scientific research, teaching and talent cultivation.
