In order to closely follow the educational transformation trends in the digital intelligence era, improve the student internship and practice system, and enhance the practical education capabilities of the counselor team, the College of Marine Science and Engineering recently organized a special study session with the theme of "Iterative Upgrade Paths for College Students' Internships and Practices in the Digital Intelligence Era". This study session is led by Teacher Peng Yujie.
Teacher Peng systematically expounded on the reshaping role of digital technology in the internship and practice model, focusing on four core contents: the driving forces for the transformation of internship and practice in the digital intelligence era, technological empowerment, multiple paths, and support systems. He combined the real predicaments and typical cases of internship and practice in colleges and universities. She focused on interpreting the three innovative paths of "collaborative integration of industry and education, digitalization of teaching processes, and integration of resource platforms", emphasizing the need to break through the boundaries of time and space through virtual simulation technology, rely on intelligent matching mechanisms to resolve the differences between supply and demand, and promote the transformation of internships and practices from traditional models to digital, intelligent and precise ones. Meanwhile, Teacher Peng, based on the actual work of counselors, proposed a practical direction of "enhancing digital and intelligent literacy + full-process quality monitoring + multi-subject collaborative linkage", which sparked a lively discussion among the counselors present. Everyone expressed that they will actively explore the application of digital technology in internship management, security guarantee and ability cultivation, break down the "data barrier", and make internship practice more in line with industrial demands and students' development.
Dong Chaoqun, the deputy secretary of the Party committee, pointed out in his summary that digital and intelligent transformation is a key approach to enhancing the quality of internships and practical training. The counselor team should build a three-dimensional ability matrix of "political ability + digital and intelligent literacy + professional practice", combine technological empowerment with value guidance, improve the full-process management and feedback mechanism, and promote the iterative upgrading of the internship and practical training system. Lay a solid practical foundation for cultivating high-quality talents in the new era.
