To keep pace with the educational reform trends in the digital-intelligent era, improve the internship and practice system for students, and enhance the practical education capacity of the counselor team, the College of Marine Science and Engineering recently organized a special study session themed "Iterative Upgrade Paths for University Students' Internship and Practice in the Digital-Intelligent Era". The session was hosted and led by Teacher Peng Yujie.

//// Focusing on four core aspects — the driving forces for reform, technology empowerment, diversified paths, and support systems of internship and practice in the digital-intelligent era — Teacher Peng systematically elaborated on how digital technologies have reshaped internship and practice models, combining the practical challenges and typical cases of internship programs in universities. She highlighted the interpretation of three innovative approaches: industry-education integration and collaboration, digitalization of teaching processes, and integration of resource platforms. She emphasized the need to break spatial and temporal boundaries through virtual simulation technology, resolve mismatches between supply and demand via intelligent matching mechanisms, and drive the transformation of internship and practice from traditional models to digital-intelligent and precision-oriented ones.

Furthermore, in light of the actual work of counselors, Teacher Peng proposed a practical direction of "digital-intelligent literacy improvement + whole-process quality supervision + multi-stakeholder coordination and interaction", which sparked lively discussions among the participating counselors. They stated that they would actively explore the application of digital technologies in internship management, safety assurance, and competency development, break down "data silos", and make internship and practice more aligned with industrial needs and student development.

In his concluding remarks, Dong Chaoqun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, pointed out that digital-intelligent transformation is a key measure to improve the quality of internship and practice. The counselor team should build a three-dimensional competency matrix of "political capacity + digital-intelligent literacy + professional practice", integrate technology empowerment with value guidance, improve the whole-process management and feedback mechanism, promote the iterative upgrade of the internship and practice system, and lay a solid practical foundation for cultivating high-quality talents in the new era.
