In order to further enhance the anti-fraud awareness of the freshmen of 2025 and strengthen the campus safety defense line, recently, the College of Marine Science and Engineering organized the class monitors of each class to carry out a rich and diverse anti-fraud special publicity activity for the freshmen by class.

With the rapid development of the Internet and communication technologies, various fraud methods are emerging one after another. Due to their relatively insufficient social experience, college students are prone to become the targets of lawbreakers. To enhance the vigilance and discrimination ability of freshmen, the college attaches great importance to anti-fraud publicity work. The class monitors of each class have actively prepared and innovatively adopted the form of "anti-fraud Open Microphone", encouraging students to voluntarily stand on the podium and become the main characters of safety education. During the event, students voluntarily shared cases of medical insurance fraud they had personally encountered and vividly demonstrated and analyzed in detail the types of fraud that frequently occur in colleges and universities, such as online order rigging, impersonating customer service representatives, false loans, "pig butchering", and impersonating teachers and acquaintances.

The atmosphere at this anti-fraud publicity event was lively. Students listened attentively, interacted actively and discussed enthusiastically, achieving a good effect in publicity and education. In the future, the college will continue to promote safety education work, regularly carry out various forms of safety education activities, strive to create a safer, more stable and harmonious campus environment, and safeguard the healthy growth of every student.
