On the afternoon of October 29th, President Feng Daolun of the college led a team to conduct a special inspection on laboratory safety in each experimental center. This inspection focuses on aspects such as the laboratory environment, the operation status of the ventilation system, and the use and management of old equipment, aiming to identify potential safety hazards and ensure the smooth and safe progress of experimental work.

During the inspection, President Feng Daolun carefully examined the overall environment, equipment placement, and hygiene conditions of each laboratory. He also focused on inquiring about and understanding the daily operation, maintenance records, and actual effects of ventilation systems such as fume hoods and exhaust facilities. At the same time, special attention was paid to some instruments and equipment that have been in use for a longer period of time. A detailed understanding was gained of their current performance status, usage frequency, maintenance and potential safety risks.

President Feng Daolun emphasized that safety is the top priority in laboratory work. Environmental hygiene and equipment safety are directly related to the life and health of teachers and students as well as the reliability of scientific research data. All laboratory managers are required to earnestly fulfill their safety management responsibilities, enhance their safety awareness, strictly abide by operating procedures, and immediately rectify any problems found. The college will also continuously follow up on the rectification progress to jointly create a safe, efficient and standardized experimental and research environment.
