To effectively promote the career planning education for the 2023 grade students of the College of Marine Science and Engineering, enhance their job-hunting competitiveness, and guide students to plan, prepare and act early, all the 2023 grade students of the college held the first lecture of the career departure series guidance activity in Bangjian Lecture Hall: ———— resume making. This event was hosted by counselor Gao Rui, and all the students of the 2023 grade in the college participated.
At the meeting, Teacher Gao Rui pointed out that a resume is not only the "key" to job hunting, but also the "report card" of one's growth during the four years of university. An excellent resume reflects the perfect combination of an individual's hard and soft skills. He elaborately shared the core principles and practical skills of resume making, emphasizing that content is king and integrity is the foundation, and resolutely eliminating fabrication and exaggeration. Remind students to quantify their academic, scientific research, practical and other achievements as much as possible and reflect the actual workload with real figures. At the same time, the resume should be targeted around the desired position, highlighting relevant courses, skills and practical experiences to achieve a high degree of match between the resume and the position. Teacher Gao Rui encouraged the students of the 2023 grade to seize the golden period of their junior year, actively participate in various practical activities such as course experiments, science and technology innovation projects, volunteer services, and student work, and consciously record their achievements and collect proofs to provide solid support for the content of their future resumes.
