On October 17th, the College of Marine Science and Engineering held a policy briefing on the "Rose Appointment: Love Growth Navigation Program" scholarship for the 2025 undergraduate students. The meeting was presided over by counselor Peng Yujie, aiming to help students from economically disadvantaged families gain a thorough understanding of various financial aid policies and provide strong support for them to smoothly start their college life.
At the meeting, Teacher Peng systematically and comprehensively introduced key contents such as the application conditions, review process, funding standards and usage norms of the scholarship. Through clear interpretation, he helped the students accurately understand the policy details and eliminate their concerns. At the same time, she also put forward practical suggestions on how to rationally plan the use of the student aid based on examples, encouraging students to truly use the aid funds for academic development, ability improvement and other growth directions, and give full play to the positive role of the student aid funds.
The special significance of this event lies in that while ensuring the implementation of the financial aid, it also focuses on promoting the concept of the "Love Growth Navigation Program" to take root ————. It not only helps students understand the policies and make good use of the financial aid, but also advocates the value inheritance of "from being assisted to helping others", encouraging the assisted students to pass on love on their growth path and achieve a beautiful transformation from "recipients" to "helpers".
