To help the 2022 grade students prepare for employment and enhance their job-hunting competitiveness, on October 12, 2025, the 2022 grade undergraduate students of the College of Marine Science and Engineering held a evening roll call activity with the theme of employment guidance in Bangjian Lecture Hall, which was mainly presented by counselor Lei Mengyu.
Teacher Lei closely combined the current employment situation with the professional characteristics of the college and systematically explained the four core sections: The "Tripartite Agreement" section, sorted out the signing process, core terms and the consequences of breach of contract through typical cases, and reminded students to verify information and avoid disputes; In the "Job Application Email Writing" section, suggestions are provided one by one from the email subject, body structure to the naming norms of attachments, and case comparisons are made to help students master the writing skills. For the relevant content of the "five social insurances and one housing fund", introduce the payment standards, usage scope and inquiry methods in plain and understandable language, guiding students to attach importance to the protection of their own rights and interests. In the "Employment Information System Filling" section, the operation process is demonstrated step by step, and the accuracy and timeliness of information filling are emphasized.
At the end of the event, there was a Q&A session. Teacher Lei patiently answered the students' questions. The students expressed that the content of this lecture was detailed and closely related to reality, effectively resolving many of their confusions regarding employment.
This evening roll call event not only strengthened the employment safety line for the 2022 graduates and provided them with a "guide" for employment, but also consolidated the deep friendship between teachers and students, helping the graduates to move steadily and far on their future path.
