To remember history, carry forward the spirit of patriotism, guide the majority of Party members to firmly hold onto their ideals and beliefs, cultivate profound patriotic feelings, and forge ahead with determination, on the afternoon of September 18th, the College of Marine Science and Engineering organized the majority of Party members to watch the patriotic film "731".
The film, through rigorous historical research and visual narrative, tells the historical truth that the 731 Unit of the Japanese invading Army in Pingfang District, Harbin, under the guise of "water supply for epidemic prevention", massively captured civilians for live experiments and secretly conducted inhumane research on bacteriological warfare. From a civilian perspective, it exposes the heinous crimes of the Japanese army against humanity, restores the profound suffering brought to the Chinese nation by the War of Aggression against China, and showcases the indomitable and unyielding spirit of the Chinese people in the face of utter despair.
This film viewing is one of the contents of the monthly lecture hall and political theory study for the faculty and staff of the college. Party members all believe that today's peace was won with the blood and lives of countless predecessors and should be cherished all the more. At the same time, we should carry forward the great spirit of the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, remember history, cherish peace and create the future, and unite and strive for the great cause of building a strong country and rejuvenating the nation.
