On September 14th, the College of Ocean Science and Engineering successfully held the first themed evening roll-call activity for 2025 undergraduates. With the theme of "Adaptation · Planning · Growth", this activity was hosted by Counselor Peng Yujie. It focused on exchanges with freshmen regarding campus life, academic development, and personal growth, helping them smoothly embark on a new chapter of university life.

During the evening roll-call, Ms. Peng first introduced the important achievements and prominent advantages of the college's professional development, which enhanced the freshmen's sense of identity with their majors and confidence in future development.Subsequently, she emphasized the rules and regulations regarding dormitory safety, motor vehicle management, and academic integrity. She guided the freshmen to firmly establish a sense of discipline and bottom-line thinking, while encouraging them to actively participate in club activities, focus on physical and mental health development, make career plans as early as possible, and comprehensively improve their overall quality.

During the event, the counselor held a warm collective birthday party for the new students whose birthdays are in September, allowing the students to deeply feel the care and warmth of the college in a joyful atmosphere. Finally, Teacher Peng advised all the 2025 freshmen to cherish their college time, bravely pursue their dreams, constantly surpass themselves and strive for excellence in their future study and life.
