In order to effectively ensure the safety of student dormitories during the summer vacation, eliminate potential safety hazards, and ensure the safety and stability of the campus, on July 7, all counselors of the School of Marine Science and Engineering went to the front line of the student dormitory to carry out a special inspection of dormitory safety before the summer vacation.
The objectives of this inspection are clear and focused. In strict accordance with the requirements of the school's deployment, the counselors visited the students' dormitories one by one, focusing on investigating fire safety hazards and the safety of electricity and equipment to ensure that the safe passage was unblocked.
Implement the management of staying on campus during holidays, verify the information of students staying on campus during holidays one by one, and remind students who have not registered to register in the duty room as soon as possible. When students leave the dormitory, they must be sure to turn off the power when people leave, especially the power supply of power banks, water dispensers and other equipment.
The safety inspection carried out by the counselors in the dormitory is an important measure for the college to implement safety responsibilities and care for the growth of students. Through face-to-face supervision and reminders, the students' awareness of safety precautions and responsibilities have been effectively improved, and a solid foundation has been laid for ensuring the safety and stability of the student dormitory and creating a safe and harmonious campus environment during the summer vacation.
