On the afternoon of July 2, the School of Marine Science and Engineering held the 2025 Comprehensive and Strict Governance of the Party and the In-depth Implementation of the Spirit of the Eight Regulations of the Central Committee Learning, Education and Warning Education Meeting, which was attended by all faculty and staff. Wang Weiyi, Secretary of the Party Committee of the college, presided over the meeting and conveyed the spirit of the relevant meeting.
At the meeting, Wang Weiyi conveyed and studied the spirit of the relevant meetings of the Party Committee and the school of Shanghai and the Municipal Education and Health Work, and learned the contents of the Regulations on Strict Economy and Opposition to Waste by Party and Government Organs and Notice on Centralized Rectification of Illegal Eating and Drinking. He stressed that the warning education will not only be a compulsory course for learning and education, but also a further deepening of learning and education, through the analysis of different types of typical cases, put forward three requirements: first, in-depth study and comprehension of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important exposition on strengthening the party's style of construction and the spirit of the eight provisions of the Central Committee and its implementation rules, and always maintain political sobriety and firmness; The second is to promote the study and reform in an integrated manner, work the quality of learning, move the real style in the investigation and strength, see the real chapter in the effectiveness of the reform, and persevere in correcting the four winds and establish a new style; The third is to conscientiously check the self-examination, deeply learn the lessons of people around you and things around you, restrain yourself with higher standards and stricter requirements, and consciously set an example of self-revolution and a benchmark for abiding by rules and disciplines.
Wang Weiyi reported the recent typical cases of violating the spirit of the eight regulations of the central government and the teacher's ethics and style, and hoped that all teachers and staff would take the case as a lesson, strictly abide by the bottom line of teachers' ethics, and standardize professional behavior; Deeply integrate teacher ethics and teaching style into all aspects of education, teaching and scientific research, and earnestly carry the mission of establishing morality and cultivating people; Jointly create a good atmosphere of clean air and entrepreneurship, and promote the high-quality development of the college. Wang Weiyi, on behalf of the Party Committee of the College, signed the 2025-2026 Letter of Responsibility for the Construction of Party Style and Clean Government of the School of Marine Science and Engineering, Shanghai Maritime University.
Before the meeting, the college organized teachers and students to visit the special exhibition of The Family Style of the Chinese Communists. Through visits and studies, we will further inherit the red family culture, strengthen the construction of teacher ethics and integrity education, and promote the long-term normalcy of work style construction.
