On the afternoon of June 20th, the Safety Student Party Branch of the College of Ocean Science and Engineering held a graduation season themed activity titled "Vows Resounding · Torch Passing On" in the one-stop activity room of Building 60, combining online and offline methods. As an important part of the education for graduate Party members in the college, this activity has built an interactive platform for graduate Party members to pass on experience and answer questions through forms such as discussion exchanges, experience sharing, and leaving-school education.
Experience is shared, communication promotes growth
The atmosphere at the event was lively. Graduate party members shared their experiences around topics such as academic planning, career choices, and research competitions. Graduate party member Zhang Xinru said, "Four years of professional study have made me deeply understand the responsibilities and commitments of those in the safety field. I hope that my juniors and juniors will cherish their time at school, lay a solid professional foundation, and contribute their youthful strength to fields such as work safety and emergency management in the future." Sun Hanfen, secretary of the student party branch, stated, "The valuable experience of graduate party members is a treasure of the college. It is hoped that after leaving school, they will continue to maintain their character as party members and play an exemplary vanguard role in their respective positions."
Leaving the school but not the heart, the mission is forever inherited.
Teacher Sun Hanfen gave the "last lesson" to graduate party members before they leave school, encouraging them, "No matter where you go, always remember your identity as a party member and fulfill the mission of safety." All members of the Safety Student Party Branch made a solemn commitment: after leaving school, they will strictly abide by the Party discipline and rules, adhere to the bottom line of safety in their future work, and strive to be pioneers in the industry.
