On the afternoon of June 5, 2024, the School of Marine Science and Engineering held a laboratory management work meeting, which was attended by the heads of departments and the directors of the experimental center. The meeting was presided over by Feng Daolun, deputy secretary of the party committee and president.
At the meeting, Dean Feng Daolun emphasized that the college will further expand the large-scale instrument sharing platform and include more qualified equipment into the scope of sharing. He asked the centers to actively promote equipment sharing according to the list of large-scale instruments provided by the college office, and make it clear that the large-scale equipment purchased in the future will be included in the sharing platform by default.
In addition, the meeting also put forward strict requirements for the use and management of laboratories and study rooms. Dean Feng pointed out that during the inspection process, if the rectification is not timely or repeated violations are found, the use authority of the relevant laboratory will be suspended to ensure the safe and standardized operation of the laboratory.
This conference laid a solid foundation for further improving the laboratory management efficiency of the college, promoting the sharing of large-scale instruments and laboratory safety management.
