In order to effectively enhance students' safety awareness, build a strong summer safety defense line, and at the same time correct the examination style and discipline, and promote the spirit of integrity, on the evening of June 8, the 2023 class of the School of Marine Science and Engineering carried out a late roll call with the theme of You are safe in the summer, try my sincerity in the Bangjian Lecture Hall, which was delivered by counselor Meng Xuanzhen.
Focusing on the upcoming summer vacation, Ms. Meng gave a comprehensive safety reminder. The safety precautions covering key areas such as drowning prevention and water activities, travel and transportation, personal property protection, part-time and internship practices during holidays, and school life were emphasized, and students were reminded to tighten the safety chord at all times, enhance their risk prevention awareness and self-protection ability, and ensure a safe, healthy and enjoyable holiday.
As the final exam is approaching, Ms. Meng reiterated the strict requirements of the Student Handbook on examination discipline, and profoundly expounded the importance of integrity for personal character building and academic ethics construction. Honesty is the basic criterion that college students should abide by, and any cheating behavior is not only a serious violation of school rules and discipline, but also a violation of the bottom line of personal integrity, and will bear the corresponding consequences.
