On the afternoon of June 11th, the 2025 graduates of the College of Marine Science and Engineering successfully held the "Between Inches · Freeze Youth" heat-shrinkable sheet creative production activity in the activity room of Building 60. As one of the series of activities during the college's graduation season, this activity, with a novel form of creative handicrafts, has created a warm platform for graduates to cherish campus memories.

The event site was filled with the vitality of youth. Under professional guidance, graduates condensed four years of campus friendship onto small heat-shrinkable sheets: some students outlined the shape of a "lighthouse" with delicate brushstrokes, some transformed their bachelor gown photos into Q-version comics, and others innovatively combined the school motto "Loyalty, Faithfulness, Sincerity and Respect" with wave elements. After careful drawing, rapid shaping and other processes, unique commemorative pendants were created in the hands of the students.

Every meticulously crafted shrink plastic work embodies the students' profound affection for their alma mater and their youthful memories. These creative works, within such a small space, not only freeze-frame the morning reading moments in the library, the exploration times in the laboratory, and the striving instants on the sports field, but also carry the teachings of teachers, the friendship among classmates, and the dreams of youth.Written by: Peng Yujie
