On the afternoon of June 16th, the 2025 graduates of the College of Ocean Science and Engineering held the "Convey Affection Through Calligraphy · Depict Prime Years with Brushes" handwritten blessing activity in the activity room of Building 60. As one of the featured activities of the college's graduation season, this event used traditional calligraphy tools as the carrier, creating a warm platform for graduates to express their emotions and convey blessings. Sun Hanfen and Peng Yujie, counselors of the college, participated in the activity together with the graduates.

The event venue was filled with the fragrance of paper and ink, permeated with a strong cultural atmosphere. Graduates took up brushes and wrote youth messages on specially made letter papers and bookmarks. Some students wrote "A Bright Future" in forceful regular script, conveying good wishes to their classmates; others used free and easy running cursive to write "Peace and Joy" and "All Wishes Come True", passing on sincere friendship; some even skillfully combined professional characteristics to create creative bookmarks with marine elements, integrating aspirations like "Ride the Waves" and "Set Sail" into their brushwork. Every word and sentence contained gratitude for the alma mater's cultivation, reluctance to part with teachers and classmates, and profound longing for the future.

These handwritten works, carrying deep affection and friendship, will be carefully packaged into "Graduation Blessing Gift Packages" and given to classmates for permanent keepsake. This activity not only allows graduates to appreciate the beauty of brush and ink in traditional culture, but also engraves the most touching bonds of their youth in a unique way, making the feelings of farewell linger on in the faint fragrance of ink forever.撰稿:彭玉洁
