In the afternoon of June 4, 2025, the completion ceremony of the 10th Inspirational Academy of Shanghai Maritime
University was successfully held in Bangjian Lecture Hall. Dong Chaoqun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee
of the College of Ocean Science and Engineering, attended the ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by
Wang Yunzhen, Director of the Student Financial Aid Management Center. Tutors of each class and all students
participated in the ceremony.
Mr. Dong Chaoqun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Marine Science and Engineering, delivered a speech,
summarizing the work of the Inspirational Academy in this phase. He reviewed the academic lectures, group counseling, exchange
discussions, and other activities in this phase, affirmed the students' learning achievements, and encouraged the students to
always be grateful, continue to carry forward the inspirational spirit, pursue excellence, and bravely climb to new heights.
Subsequently, Shang Xingyu, the first prize winner of the thematic speech contest, gave a speech demonstration. He Yonghao, an
outstanding student representative from the College of Logistics Engineering, delivered a speech, sharing his learning insights
and thoughts in this phase of the Inspirational Academy, and expressed that he would meet challenges and strive for progress with
full gains. Finally, Mr. Dong Chaoqun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Marine Science and Engineering,
and Mr. Wang Yunzhen, Director of the Student Financial Aid Management Center, awarded honorary certificates to the outstanding
students of the 10th Inspirational Academy.
The graduation ceremony of this session of the Lizhi Academy came to a successful conclusion amid everyone's applause. It is believed that the students will continue to maintain the background of youth in their future study and life, and strive to grow into good young people of the new era who have ideals, dare to take responsibility, can endure hardships, and are willing to strive.
