In order to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and guide the youth to take the initiative to carry out the study and education of the Party Constitution, on May 14, the School of Marine Science and Engineering organized the 2025 Young Marxist Training Project Training Course and the Special Research Activity of the New Youth Red Research Camp in the Aviation Science Building. With the theme of learning the party constitution and party discipline and strengthening party spirit, the event guided students to deepen their theoretical cognition and practical consciousness of the party through case analysis, interactive discussions, and historical combing.
Teacher Chen Dengzhi emphasized that joining the party is not only an honor, but also a responsibility and the bottom line, based on the cases of student discipline violations and the omission of party member development procedures. He pointed out that the lack of procedural awareness will weaken identity, and proposed a four-step learning method for this purpose - learning from the original, learning from practice, learning from contrast, and learning with knowledge and action, advocating students to practice the standards of party members from daily details such as dormitory hygiene and academic attitude, and implement the cultivation of party spirit.
Mr. Deng Zhong in The Identity of Communist Party Members: What is a Communist Party Member? In the lecture, he shared his cross-field work experience as an alumnus, from engineering teachers to overseas cadres to logistics managers, and inspired students to understand the true colors of party members from the three primary colors of red, yellow and blue - red represents faith, yellow symbolizes innovation, and blue reflects rigor, fully demonstrating the original intention and pursuit of party members and cadres in the new era.
With the title of The Change and Unchanged of the Party Constitution: Historical Logic and Practical Significance, Ms. Li Xiufang systematically sorted out the 100-year revision process of the Party Constitution, combined with the historical experience of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China's new Ten Insistences, and analyzed the people's position in the Change and Unchanged of the Party Constitution. She stressed that learning the party constitution is important to transform it into a daily use code of action, and hoped that students will accurately grasp the practical requirements of the new party constitution, understand the significance of the revision of the party constitution, consciously study the party constitution, abide by the party constitution, and enhance the cultivation of party spirit.
During the exchange session, the students enthusiastically shared their insights from the visit to the red education base, the mass work in social practice, and discussed how to integrate the party constitution into daily life, showing the young students' deep understanding of the mission of party members and their firm determination to practice their original intentions.
Through the theory and practice model, the Qingma Class and New Youth Red Research Camp effectively promotes party spirit education and cultivates young people, leading students to forge loyal character in theoretical learning, practice tackling tough strength in innovative practice, cultivate a beautiful soul in volunteer service, inherit the red gene in historical search, and help them grow into pillars of the new era with both ability and political integrity.
