In order to deepen the construction of the work style of graduate students joining the party, the 24-level graduate students of the School of Ocean Science and Engineering recently organized all the activists to join the party and carry out in-depth study on the spirit of the eight provisions of the central government in the one-stop community service center of the college. Through the concentrated study of Xi Jinping's Excerpts on Strengthening the Construction of the Party's Work Style and watching the anti-corruption feature film Anti-corruption for the People, etc., guide the activists who join the party to deeply understand the core requirements such as improving investigation and research and practicing diligence and thrift, and build a strong line of discipline defense from the ideological roots.
In the discussion, the activists who joined the party discussed hotly in combination with their own learning and scientific research practice. Cao Zheng, a 24-level doctor, proposed that academic research should guard against impetuousness and put an end to plagiarism, and Wang Jingyu, a 24-level master, proposed that student cadres should streamline the activity process and avoid extravagance and waste. The activity also innovatively set up the Integrity Micro Action initiative, calling on the majority of students to practice eight regulations from three aspects: academic integrity, thrifty life, and serving the masses, such as establishing academic mutual aid groups and carrying out CD-ROM action check-in.
In the summary, the convener of the special study emphasized that the construction of work style needs to be integrated into daily life, and the principle of being cautious, abiding by the public, and taking responsibility for action is the criterion, and regular self-examination and self-examination. Activists who joined the party have expressed that they will take this study as a new starting point, transform the spirit of the eight provisions of the Central Committee into concrete actions in study and life, and strive to become qualified party members as soon as possible.
