By comparing the carbon emissions of traditional fuel ships and new energy ships, Mr. Chen pointed out that green port and shipping is not only the inevitable direction of technological innovation in the industry, but also a key area to achieve the strategic goal of double carbon.

The lecture focused on seven core topics: environmental protection challenges and transformation pressures faced by the global port and shipping industry, development opportunities brought about by clean energy technology innovation, how to optimize the shipping network with intelligent dispatching systems, environmental protection concepts in the design of new ships, green port infrastructure construction standards, the impact of the international carbon trading mechanism on the shipping industry, and new requirements for relevant talent training.

In his lecture, Mr. Chen emphasized, From the choice of fuel for a ship to the lighting system of a port, the green concept has penetrated into every aspect of the port and shipping industry. Through a detailed case study of China's green port and shipping, he outlined the development path of emerging professions such as carbon manager and green ship engineer for the students, so that the students could realize that green transformation brings not only challenges, but also new opportunities for career development.

This forward-looking lecture not only gave the students a comprehensive understanding of the development status of green port and shipping, but also made everyone deeply understand the close connection between this change and everyone's career. After the lecture, many students said that Mr. Chen's explanation not only had a cutting-edge vision of the industry, but also had practical guiding significance, providing them with a new perspective for planning their future career development.
