In order to help students clarify their academic goals and explore the possibilities of professional development, on April 13, the 2023 class of the School of Ocean Science and Engineering held a late roll call activity with the theme of Atypical University Life: When 'Social Fear Reserves' Meet N Possibilities of Materials Science in the Bangjian Lecture Hall, and invited Wei Yuxin, a student from Materials 211, to share her research experience.
Everyone will go through a turning point from confusion to firmness, Wei told about his academic performance from average to excellent, and finally locked the qualification of the graduate school to successfully counterattack, combined with competition and scientific research, student work and personal life, encourage students to pay attention to basic courses at this stage, develop good study habits, and do a good job in career planning.
After the sharing, counselor Meng Xuanzhen also carried out a late roll call with the theme of National Security, Youth Stands Up, and pointed out that national security is not a distant spy war film through case display and knowledge sharing, but is close to each of us and closely related, and there is no room for slackness, and I hope that students will establish a good overall national security concept.
This late roll call realizes the deep integration of growth empowerment and national security, and dissolves the professional anxiety of students through the concrete presentation of the growth path of role models; With the help of large-scale classroom teaching of national security concept education, we will forge the mission of young people.
