In order to further enhance the communication and exchange between teachers and students, build consensus between teachers and students, and better promote the growth and development of students. At noon on April 2, the School of Marine Science and Engineering held the first luncheon exchange meeting of 2025 on the second floor of Haixin.

At the symposium, the student representatives combined the current current affairs, focused on the development of new AI large models such as DeepSeek, shared their experiences and feelings of campus life, and the confusion encountered by individuals in growth and development, and put forward opinions and suggestions on career development, teaching and training, curriculum setting, campus life, etc. The leaders and teachers of the college listened carefully, answered patiently, and actively responded to students' concerns.

In her concluding speech, Ms. Wang Weiyi expressed her gratitude to the students for their valuable suggestions and fully affirmed the students' serious thinking. He emphasized that in the face of changes and challenges in the industry situation, under the wave of rapid development of new AI technologies, students need to adapt to changes, hone their skills, and correctly view social development and industry iteration from a more macro and long-term perspective. Finally, he put forward two suggestions, one is to focus on academics and deepen knowledge, the university period is a critical period for growth and accumulation of knowledge, students should cherish the opportunity and devote themselves to their studies. It is not only necessary to listen carefully and think positively, but also to expand the field of learning and deepen understanding through reading, research and practice. The second is to develop a well-rounded plan for the future, and university life also includes the development of critical thinking, problem-solving skills and teamwork. Students should make a study plan, balance study and leisure, actively participate in campus activities and social practice, improve their quality in an all-round way, lay a foundation for future professional and personal development, and make a good career plan.

The college has always adhered to the educational philosophy of student-oriented, always pays attention to every detail of students' growth, listens to every voice attentively, and builds a bridge for every student to chase their dreams. In the days to come, the college will continue to respond to the needs of students with sincerity and care, and help every student to move forward firmly on the road of study and life.
