In order to deepen the research on the laws of ideological and political education and improve the ability of counselors to educate people, at 9:00 a.m. on March 28, the School of Marine Science and Engineering organized all full-time and part-time counselors to carry out a theoretical study with the theme of The Three-dimensional Dimension of the Relationship between Educators and Educated Persons in Ideological and Political Education in Conference Room 410 of the College. This theoretical study was led by teacher Meng Xuanzhen.
Focusing on the emotional dimension of equal interaction, the growth dimension of two-way empowerment and the practical dimension of value symbiosis, Ms. Meng first explained the theoretical connotation and practical value of the three-dimensional dimension based on students' work cases, emphasizing that educators and educated people need to build trust in respecting differences, realize teaching and learning in resource sharing, and promote the unity of knowledge and action in value resonance. Subsequently, Mr. Meng proposed the practice path of constructing dialogue scenes with the attitude of 'listeners' and conveying the depth of thought with the role of 'guide', which resonated. The participating counselors believed that it is necessary to break the traditional one-way indoctrination model, stimulate two-way subjectivity through situational and experiential education, and build consensus in the guidance of values. Finally, Mr. Meng shared the article Diversified Forms, Educational Advantages and Technical Paths of Digital Application Scenarios of Ideological and Political Education, which aims to improve the pertinence, effectiveness, attractiveness and sense of the times of ideological and political education.
Dong Chaoqun, deputy secretary of the Party committee, concluded that the three-dimensional dimension theory provides a new perspective for ideological and political work, makes a new ranking for the role and working methods of counselors, and requires the counselor team to continue to explore the working methods of unity of dominance and subjectivity and coordination of value guidance and demand fit, so as to promote the ideological and political work to be deeper and more practical.
