In order to help students have a clearer understanding of their own development direction and improve their overall quality, on the evening of March 16, 2025, the 2024 undergraduate students of the School of Marine Science and Engineering carried out a late roll call activity with the theme of "Breaking through the Encirclement with a 'Three-dimensional Perspective' and Becoming Your Own Helmsman" in the Bangjian Lecture Hall.
The late roll call focuses on three dimensions: social environment cognition, thinking change and self-improvement, time management and learning ability. First of all, Ms. Xu Ling analyzed the whereabouts of the 2024 graduates based on the latest data, and refined them to various majors to provide reference for students and enhance their rational cognition of the employment environment. Subsequently, Ms. Xu Ling emphasized the importance of changing thinking and awakening oneself, and encouraged students to continuously improve their abilities to adapt to the challenges of the real environment. Finally, Ms. Xu Ling guided everyone to cherish time, seize the opportunity, and start from three aspects: enhancing time planning ability, improving self-discipline and self-reflection, and broadening information source channels, and especially emphasized the key to learning to learn, and to meet the future with a proactive and enterprising attitude.
This late roll call activity helped the students establish a correct concept of growth, and inspired everyone to move forward bravely in the ever-changing environment and become the "helmsman" who controls their own lives.
