At 8 p.m. on March 17, 2025, the School of Ocean Science and Engineering will hold the 2024 May Fourth Appraisal Defense Meeting. With the theme of "Promoting the Spirit of May Fourth and Gathering the Power of Youth", this defense meeting aims to commend individuals and collectives with outstanding performance in the work of group learning. He Haibo, Secretary of the Youth League Committee of the College, and the counselors of the undergraduate and graduate grades jointly served as judges, and the atmosphere was warm, showing the vigorous vitality of the young students of the college.
At the defense meeting, the participating students showed their individual and collective growth footprints through thought leadership, academic performance, scientific and technological innovation achievements, team building and other dimensions. A number of candidates combined with learning and education activities, theme group days and other learning and practice activities to elaborate on the improvement of their own ideological consciousness; Some students take professional learning grades and discipline competition awards as the starting point to show the pursuit of "applying what they have learned"; Representatives of the Vitality League branch highlighted the cohesion of grassroots League organizations through cases such as volunteer service and joint construction of study style.
