In order to further improve the professional level of the counselor team and innovate the student work model, on March 14, the Student Work Office of the School of Marine Science and Engineering organized the counselors to carry out the theoretical study with the theme of "Research on the Ideological Characteristics and Behavior Patterns of College Students in the New Era" and the business study with the theme of "Combination of Artificial Intelligence and Counselor Work" in Conference Room 306 of the College. This theoretical study was led by Mr. Lei Mengyu, and the business study was led by Mr. Huang Yin.
Combined with the growth background and the background of the times of "post-00" college students, Mr. Lei deeply analyzed their value formation, information acquisition methods, psychological development needs and behavior choice characteristics. Through case analysis, seminars and other forms, the counselors exchanged views on hot topics such as the intergenerational characteristics of online natives, ideological conflicts under the influence of multiculturalism, mental health and career development needs, and further clarified the direction of precision education. Subsequently, in the business learning session, Mr. Huang Yin showed the auxiliary role of these tools in information integration and preliminary analysis with the theme of "Exploration of the Combination of Artificial Intelligence and Counselor Work", and invited the counselors to discuss the combination of technical means and practical work, and the counselors discussed the practical application.
Dong Chaoqun, deputy secretary of the party committee, concluded that the counselor team should be based on the mission of "educating people for the party and educating talents for the country", and should not only deepen theoretical research and grasp the dynamic law of students' thoughts; It is also necessary to strengthen digital thinking, explore new paths for technology empowerment and education, and build a dual-track work model of "temperature and precision".
The college will continue to deepen the two-wheel drive mechanism of "theory and business", help the counselor team to move forward in the direction of specialization and professionalism, and effectively improve the epochality and effectiveness of college students' ideological and political education.
