In order to gain an in-depth understanding of students' learning and living conditions, enhance students' sense of identity with their majors, and clarify the direction of development, the School of Marine Science and Engineering held a student symposium in the "one-stop" community room on March 5. Dean Feng Daolun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Dong Chaoqun, Vice Dean Liu Jiahao and student representatives of all grades attended the ceremony.
The atmosphere of the whole exchange process was warm, the students actively asked questions, and the college leaders gave detailed answers. In response to the students' questions about the difficulty of the course, the introduction to scientific research, and employment prospects, the members of the leadership team patiently answered them. The leaders of the college reminded students to consolidate their professional foundation, participate in scientific research projects and practical activities, and improve their comprehensive quality; The college will continue to strengthen cooperation with enterprises to provide students with more high-quality practical opportunities, and will further optimize the curriculum system, enhance personalized academic guidance, and help students successfully complete their academic goals.
This symposium smoothed the communication channels between the leadership team of the college and the students, solved the confusion in the study and employment for the students, and enhanced the students' sense of identity and belonging to the major. The School of Ocean Science and Engineering will continue to pay attention to the growth needs of students, and continue to innovate work methods to help students realize the value of life in the field of marine engineering.
