On the afternoon of February 19th, the College of Marine Science and Engineering held a faculty meeting for the new semester, with all faculty members attending. At the meeting, Party Secretary Wang Weiyi gave a special education on teacher ethics and style.
Secretary Wang Weiyi pointed out that the college will focus on building a long-term mechanism for the construction of teacher ethics and style, and ensure that teachers' professional behavior always meets the requirements of the code through institutionalized and standardized management measures. At the same time, the college will systematically carry out a series of activities on teacher ethics warning education based on the problems and typical cases discovered during inspections and audits. Through various forms such as organizing thematic learning, case studies, and experience exchanges, the college will guide all teachers to deeply understand the importance and urgency of teacher ethics and style construction, and effectively enhance their sense of responsibility and mission in cultivating virtue and educating people.
Secretary Wang Weiyi emphasized that the college will focus on creating a clean and upright educational environment through a series of effective measures. He demanded that all faculty members always adhere to the moral bottom line in their educational and teaching work, not touch the disciplinary red line, and lead students to grow and succeed with noble teacher ethics and style.
The college will continue to promote the construction of teacher ethics and style as a long-term and fundamental work. Through various measures such as improving institutional construction, strengthening education and training, and improving assessment mechanisms, the overall quality of the teaching staff will be continuously improved, making new and greater contributions to promoting the high-quality development of the college and serving the construction of a strong education country.
