On December 18, 2024, Heike ·ForHer studio launched the Empowering the Future, Lighting her Power women's salon, focusing on the topic of women's growth in the field of engineering, inviting Xu Tao, Secretary of the Party Branch of the Safety Teaching Staff, Ma Tingting, secretary of the Party branch of the Port and Navigation Teaching Staff, Gao Xuan, 2023 outstanding graduate students, Zhang Xia, as guests, and the salon was presided over by counselor Xu Ling.
Teacher Xu Tao told about his personal experience from study to job hunting, Teacher Xu mentioned that the road of engineering study and research is full of hardships, but women's delicate, patience and tenacity play a unique advantage in it, I hope students can maintain progress, not afraid of hardship, and continue to increase the weight for themselves in the future life road. Teacher Ma Tingting talked about the difference between her and a classmate's growth track. She emphasized the importance of career planning. She hoped that students could make full preparations, study hard and learn professional knowledge so that they could have the opportunity to choose in the future. Zhang Xia shared three different events on her growth path, emphasizing to the students that they should strive to do their best at any time, try their best to overcome difficulties, do not shrink back, and a successful result will be waiting at the end. With her own experience, Gao Xuan explained how to adjust her self-attitude under unsatisfactory objective conditions, forge ahead, make good use of all platforms and resources, and gradually get closer to her desired life.
During the interaction session, teachers and students had in-depth and heated discussions on career development planning, academic development path, mental adjustment and other topics. People expressed their opinions, shared their own insights and experiences, and also raised many puzzles and questions. In response to these questions, the teachers present gave patient and detailed answers and suggestions, encouraging everyone to maintain self-confidence and have the courage to break through self-limitations.
This salon provides a field for female teachers and students of the college to interact, share experience and sentiment, enhance the emotional communication between female teachers and students, and provide a rich spiritual motivation and practical guidance for all female students in their future study, work and life.
