In order to further enhance the academic moral quality and integrity awareness of graduate students and establish a good style of clean learning, on the afternoon of December 12, 2024, the 2023 graduate students of the College of Marine Science and Engineering carried out the theme of Learning to carry the way, integrity-based education activities in the 109 lecture hall, which was lectured by counselor Zhu Di Yu.
At the beginning of the activity, Ms. Zhu first explained the importance of exam integrity and academic integrity. She pointed out that integrity is the cornerstone of academic research and the moral bottom line that every student must adhere to. Then, she combined with the cases of cheating and academic misconduct in recent years, detailed analysis of the serious consequences of lack of integrity, reminding students to take it as a warning and cherish their academic reputation. According to the actual learning situation of graduate students, Zhu also emphasized the norms that graduate students should abide by in the process of scientific research, including how to correctly cite literature, how to avoid plagiarism and plagiarism, and how to maintain the authenticity and integrity of experimental data. She pointed out that while students have the courage to explore and innovate, they must adhere to the bottom line of academic integrity and not cross the line.
This integrity themed education activity not only enhanced the academic integrity awareness of graduate students, but also contributed an important force to the construction of the school's style of study, and laid a solid foundation for cultivating more high-quality and high-level academic talents.
