In order to promote emotional exchange, knowledge sharing and psychological growth among students, the YOUR Good mental education Studio of the College of Marine Science and Engineering launched a themed reading activity - Sharing Stories with Objects as media in the community at 15:00 on December 11. This activity aims to build a warm and creative reading exchange platform and guide students to interact in reading sharing.
In the activity, each participating student created a self-portrait and a painting depicting a moment of personal happiness. Everyone took turns to show their works enthusiastically and describe every detail of the painting in vivid language. Some told about the wonderful time spent with family and friends, and some shared the pleasant moments in school life. It promotes mutual understanding and emotional connection between students.
In the theme sharing session, the students talked about the things and things that impressed them deeply about their favorite books. Some students from their own reading of an object in the book, extended to the character, the plot of the profound insights, such as brought a bottle of water to tell to Live; Some students brought a pot of tea to talk about the Basic Theory of Chinese Medicine and why they fell in love with studying Chinese medicine, while others shared an experience in the book to express their unique feelings. Through some sharing and discussion, some students found themselves in the story, learned a lot of knowledge that had not been exposed to before, experienced more deeply, and were attracted by the story to plant new books.
The event ended with the question, What would you do if you were a character in a book or had the opportunity to talk to a character in a book? To think about the end of this reading sharing.
