In order to help the students of the College of Marine Science and Engineering deeply understand the development status of the major and the employment prospects of the corresponding work, strengthen the professional identity and take root in the responsibility of scientific research to serve the country. From January 7 to 10, 2025, the College organized a practice team to go to Wuhu, Jingjiang and other places for field visits and in-depth exchanges with local staff. Lei Mengyu, the director of employment of the College, was the mentor of this enterprise research practice, and a total of 11 students participated.
In the Battle Hymn of the Strong Army, we feel the national defense feelings of the century-old shipyard. Subsequently, the practice team arrived at Wuhu Shipyard Anhui Haizhi Equipment Research Institute. And the industry development, the current employment situation, new business exploration and other aspects of the discussion and exchange, for students to remove employment doubts, clear employment orientation, further smooth career.
In front of the dual-fuel giant ship, explore the largest private shipyard in the country. On January 10, the practice team visited the ship, production workshop and exhibition hall under the leadership of Gu Pengcheng, director of the Personnel Section of Yangzijiang Shipyard. In the discussion and exchange meeting, the minister and technical experts introduced the concept of training talents of the group to the members of the practice team, shared the concept of employment and career selection with the members of their own work experience, and answered the questions of the students.
This enterprise research practice activity not only helps students to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical insight, but also plays a positive role in students' understanding of the profession, understanding of the industry, shaping quality, and enhancing professional confidence.
