With the title of One practice is better than one hundred facts, Mr. Hu explained the importance of college students to carry out high-quality social practice in combination with what they have learned in their major, and shared in detail the concept of practical education of the Department of Education of East China Normal University, the selection requirements of social practice projects in Shanghai and the excellent practice cases emerging in the Department of Education in recent years.
Teacher Hu Hang introduced the advanced experience of the department's Five hundred practice projects, cultivated students' ability to learn in practice and practice in study, shaped future education leaders who dared to take responsibility, and inspired us to focus on maritime characteristics, give full play to professional expertise, actively respond to the strategic goal of building a national maritime power and shipping power, and improve the overall contribution of social practice.
Teacher Hu Hang stressed that social practice activities should be more integrated into the public interest and less utilitarian, and should be combined with the characteristics of professional disciplines and research advantages, from the pertinence, scientific, practical, educational and impact dimensions, to explore and expand the connotation of social practice.
