In order to further improve the ability of counselors to handle psychological cases and ensure that students receive timely and effective psychological support, on the morning of December 16, all full-time and part-time counselors of the College of Marine Science and Engineering held a key case supervision meeting in the conference room 410 of the College, and teacher Dong Haitao from the Psychological Counseling Center of the school came to guide.
At the meeting, the counselors first made a detailed introduction to the key psychological cases they were responsible for, including the basic situation of the students, their psychological state, the intervention measures they had taken and their effectiveness. Teacher Dong Haitao carefully listened to the report, and combined with their own professional knowledge and practical experience, carried out a detailed analysis of the case. He pointed out that when dealing with students' psychological problems, we should first ensure the safety of students, build a relationship of trust through listening, understanding and support, and gradually guide students out of difficulties. At the same time, he also stressed the importance of home-school cooperation, suggesting that counselors strengthen communication with parents and jointly build a supportive growth environment for students.
Finally, Dong Chaoqun, deputy secretary of the Party Committee, summarized the meeting, stressing that the work of students' mental health education is a long-term and arduous task, which requires the joint efforts of all counselors to continuously improve their professional literacy and comprehensive ability. At the same time, he asked the counselors to pay close attention to the changes in the psychological state of the students, discover the problems in time and properly deal with them to ensure the physical and mental health and all-round development of the students.
