In order to strengthen cooperation and exchanges between schools and enterprises and promote the innovative development of grassroots party branches, recently, the Party branch of the General Branch of the 708th Research Institute of China Shipbuilding Group and the Party Branch of the Ship and Marine Engineering Teaching and engineering of Shanghai Maritime University carried out joint construction activities. Xiong Zhixin, director of the Department of Marine Science and Engineering, Wu Gongxing, Secretary of the Party Branch of the Department of Teaching and Engineering, Zhu Xin, Secretary of the Party Branch of the 708 Research Institute, and Wang Shiyang, director of the General Section, attended the meeting, and Party members and teacher representatives of both branches participated in the co-construction activities.
On behalf of the Department of Shipping and Marine Engineering, Xiong Zhixin welcomed the arrival of Zhu Xin and his delegation from the 708 Research Institute. He introduced the research characteristics of the Department of Shipping and the projects undertaken in recent years. He hoped that through the joint construction activities of the two grass-roots party branches, a bridge could be built for school-enterprise cooperation, and the Party building activities could be used as the starting point to strengthen the collaborative cooperation in ship innovation, realize resource sharing and complementary advantages. Promote the integrated development of party building work and scientific research work, and achieve the construction goal of mutual benefit and win-win situation and common improvement.
Wu Gongxing introduced the basic situation of the College of Marine Science and Engineering, such as the professional composition, faculty strength, research team and teaching party branch.
Zhu Xin introduced the main business contents of the 708 Research Institute and the basic situation of the Party branch of the overall section, hoping to conduct in-depth exchanges in the construction of talent reserve, future scientific research cooperation, and sharing of party building resources, and the party branches of both sides will play the role of fighting fortress to form a new model of party building and business integration and mutual promotion.
In the interaction session, the Party branch members of both sides introduced their own research content, and made in-depth exchanges on ship fluid analysis, hull structure verification, propeller hydrodynamics, intelligent ships, energy saving and emission reduction. It is expected to form a joint force in basic scientific research, common technology, personnel training and other aspects, and turn into a rope to solve the scientific and technological problems in the field of shipbuilding and ocean engineering.
