In order to help freshmen make a smooth study connection from high school to university and solve the practical difficulties encountered by freshmen in the course, on December 4, 2024, the College of Marine Science and Engineering held the first Haike Help, Senior Math Class activity in the One-stop community activity room of Building 60. Sophomore students Wang Xitong, Zhou Wenfeng and Li Chengyi were invited as student lecturers to explain and answer questions about advanced mathematics courses for junior students.
The activities are carried out in the form of unified guidance and group explanation. First of all, the three seniors introduced their learning experiences related to high mathematics. Wang Xitong shared the experience of how to overcome the difficulties in high number learning, she pointed out that learning high number must do the four will, that is, the definition will say, the theorem will prove, the publicity will push, and the example will do. Lee discusses how to do a good job in the dynamic repetition of high number learning, and how to find fun and inspiration in the world of mathematics. With his clear and logical notes as the medium, Zhou Wenfeng showed the freshmen the attitude and skills to learn the high number, and shared the review materials about the high number. After that, the three seniors were grouped to solve doubts, whether it was the confusion of theoretical understanding, or the bottleneck of problem-solving skills, they could get a detailed and comprehensive solution. Senior students not only give ideas to solve problems, but also teach new students how to flexibly use formulas and theorems, so that the problem has become a method to follow. After experience sharing and exercise explanation, the freshmen said that they had a clearer grasp of the knowledge structure, were no longer afraid of difficulties, and were more confident about the final test.
